Kitten goes backpacking from USA to Argentina

Kitty the cat, who was rescued after being abandoned at the side of a road in Louisiana, is accompanying a French couple as they hike a 9,000 mile journey from Miami, Florida to the city of Ushuaia in Argentina. The central theme of William, Laetitia and Kitty's three-year-long adventure is the idea that money does not buy happiness, and since starting the trek in 2009, they have experienced the contrasting lifestyles of the rich and the poor.

Kitty, whose adventure is being documented in photographs and videos, is particularly fond of William, and is "frequently found snuggled up in a ball inside his backpack, or wrapped tightly around his neck". She even has her own cat-size umbrella. The remarkable kitten clearly shares the adventurers' passion for exploring nature and meeting new people.
