Hostel Hero App Gets A Boost

A new partnership with the online budget accommodation specialist, HostelBookers has given the iPhone app, "Hostel Hero" some new features. Newly-released version 2.0 gives backpackers and gap year travellers access to over 150,000 unbiased ratings and reviews, revealing what a hostel is really like before they make a reservation. Users can also sort lists of hostels by ratings as well as by name or price, making bed booking on the move even faster and easier. Hostel Hero has tightened his utility belt and scrapped booking fees. Users simply pay a 10% deposit to reserve their bed and pay the balance on arrival, with no extra transaction fee. Up to eleven languages are available for property descriptions. Hostel Hero founder Jason Morris commented: "The original Hostel Hero app led the way in mobile hostel booking. Now, thanks to our new partnership with HostelBookers, we are able to bring exciting new features to our users, like ratings and reviews, with no more booking fees!"
