Egypt Offers Good Value for Gap Year Students

The Egyptian State Tourist Office have stated that Gap Year travellers will get more for their money in Egypt.

Accommodation in Egypt is very good value, and flights are available from around £280. Travelling to Egypt is also very easy, with flights available from most UK airports, and a journey time of four and a half hours.

Khaled Ramy, the UK and Ireland director of the Egyptian State Tourist Office said "It has lots of culture, it has lots of beach resorts... If you're in Sharm El Sheikh, you have your own beach, you have your own coral reef, you don't have to cross a road."
