No special skills needed, just a strong desire to roll up your sleeves and work alongside local people to solve their poverty housing issues. Most of the work is manual labour and a local craftsman will show you what to do. To take part you need to be between 18 and 70 and in reasonable health.
Help to get qualified to work as a ski or outdoor instructor with a BASP first aid and safety course qualification. Programmes are ideal for those seeking experience within the ski or outdoor industries, and provide essential grounding in the basic safety techniques needed. The scheme offers structured progression for all outdoor users beginning with basic emergency courses. Courses, run to HSE approved code of practise guidelines, are for 2-5 days.
