Australia Considered A Costly Gap Year Destination

A recent survey carried out by TNT Magazine has revealed that less than a third of travellers visiting Australia would describe it as affordable. Despite this, 70% of them still consider the country a must-see distination.
Sydney was voted most popular destination, but Melbourne came a very close second, missing out by only one vote. The other locations in the Top 10 were the Great Barrier Reef, Brisbane, Perth, Cairns, Auckland, Uluru, Christchurch and Tasmania.
The survey also showed that 55% of respondants were spending $350 a week, and 27% were spending $650 a week.
